This editorial discusses the current COVID-19 outbreak and underlines that hygienic educational programs are fundamental and must be continued and implemented especially for immunosuppressed children.
Drugs in Context HIV/AIDS welcomes a broad range of article types including original research, study protocols and review articles.
In line with the principle of providing context for healthcare professionals (HCPs) to properly inform and improve disease management in real world medicine, we especially encourage the submission of articles that provide context for trials of drug interventions in order to motivate improvements in disease management by HCPs practising medicine in the front line.

This review aims to present the available in vitro and in vivo data for the role of chloroquine/ hydroxychloroquine in COVID-19 and attempts to put them into perspective, especially in relation to the different risks/benefits particular to each patient who may require treatment.

This review discusses antiretroviral therapy and its nephrotoxic effects, including drug–drug interactions. It aims to guide the clinician on dose adjustment in the setting of renal impairment and dialysis, for the commonly used drugs in patients with HIV.
Review
This review summarizes chemical, pharmacological, and clinical information about doravirine with an emphasis on drug resistance. The efficacy results from an early phase clinical trial evaluating doravirine in combination with islatravir are also provided.
